Bateaux London has devised a unique dinner cruise package to mark the most romantic date of the year, 14th February.
Upon boarding, our guests will receive a welcome glass of Champagne and a single red rose at their table. This will set the tone for the rest of the evening.
As the band starts playing, the boat departs from Embankment pier, starting its journey throughout the heart of London. Our guests can take in the views, whilst enjoying a delicious meal freshly prepared on board. The menu itself consists of four courses, combining subtle and light flavours with rich and tasty ingredients.
So to begin, fresh dill and citrus tones will ally with smoked mackerel and halibut. Then lamb is accompanied by sweetbread, pea puree and fondant potato with a rich veal jus. And for the final touch, our pastry Chef Paolo tames a Dark Chocolate Tart with cherries for a sweet and sour twist. The vegetarians will be served a goat’s cheese panna cotta, served with a balsamic glaze creating a perfect marriage of tangy and sweet.
Our wines, served throughout, have been chosen to perfectly complement the meals: the tropical and dry flavours of the Alto Bajo Sauvignon Blanc will round up the tanginess of our fish starter ; the warm flavours of our Alto Bajo will add to the smooth lamb main and Chocolate Dessert.
As the food is being sent to the table, guests can relax and enjoy whilst the backdrop gradually changes and the city lights add to the romance of the evening. Coffee and Tea, served with petits fours, will top this off before a final dance before the guests disembark into the night….
